I believe that the way we treat people matters just as much as the work we produce. Respect, honesty, kindness, and genuine care for others are values I try to live by every day. They influence the way I approach my career, my relationships, and the projects I choose to invest my time in.

Long before I understood what engineering or design really was, I was fascinated by creating. As a child, I spent hours drawing, sketching, imagining new ideas, and wondering how things worked. I was the kid who was constantly building, taking things apart, or getting lost in a world that existed only on paper.

Life eventually took me in a different direction, and I pursued a career as a professional athlete. It taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of pushing beyond what you think you're capable of. But creativity never really left me. It was always there, quietly waiting for the right moment.

That moment came through the encouragement of a cousin I never had the chance to know personally. Although we never met, his passion for design became an unexpected source of inspiration. In many ways, he helped shape the path I chose, and ultimately led me into the world of design, engineering, and manufacturing.

Today I have the privilege of combining creativity with technical thinking. I enjoy finding practical solutions to complex problems, developing systems that make work easier, and designing products that people genuinely enjoy using. Whether I'm creating retail displays, developing manufacturing tools, automating repetitive processes, or sketching the first idea on a blank page, I love the process of turning an idea into something real.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me with a pencil in my hand.

Portrait sketching has remained a constant throughout my life. It's where everything slows down. There's no deadline, no client brief, no production schedule. Just observation, patience, and the challenge of capturing personality with a few simple lines. For me, sketching isn't just a hobby. It's a form of meditation.

I've come to realise that the projects I'm most proud of aren't necessarily the biggest ones. They're the ones that make someone's day a little easier, solve a frustrating problem, or help another person do their job more effectively. Those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

This portfolio is a collection of that journey. Every project represents a lesson learned, a problem solved, or an opportunity to create something meaningful. I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I've enjoyed creating it.
